Drug pushers, nabbed in Isabela and Quirino
Police
Regional Office 2, in its relentless campaign against illegal drugs,
arrested two (2) drug pushers in separate operations in the provinces of
Isabela and Quirino.
Suspects
were identified as Dominador Guieb Jr., 25 years old, married,
self-employed, and a resident of barangay Liwayway, Diffun, Quirino and Phillip Catbui, 44 years old, single, a resident of
Centro, Cabagan, Isabela
In his report to Camp Crame, PRO2 Regional Director, ATTY RODRIGO PURISIMA DE GRACIA said that at about 11:10 in the morning of November 23, 2011,
joint personnel of Diffun Police Station, Cabarroguis Police Station
and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Regional Office 2, in
coordination with the barangay officials of Diffun, Quirino together
with Mr. Edwin Ducos, field reporter of Radio Beritas conducted an
entrapment operation that resulted in the arrest of Dominador Guieb.
Confiscated from his direct possession and control were two (2) pieces
2x7x10 bricks of Cannabis Sativa commonly known as “Marijuana”.
Meanwhile, at about 11:30
in the morning of same date, joint elements of PDEA RO2 and Cabagan
Police Station conducted an anti-illegal drug operation at barangay
Ugad, Cabagan, Isabela that resulted in the arrest of Phillip Catbui.
Suspect was caught in the act handing two (2) pieces plastic sachets of
methamphetamine hydrochloride commonly known as “Shabu” to a police officer who acted as poseur buyer.Confiscated from his direct possession and control were two (2) one thousand peso (Php 1,000.00) bills used as marked money.
Suspects
and the confiscated items were properly turned-over to PDEA RO2 for
proper disposition and filing of case.
RD DE GRACIA during his TV interview in "Talakayan sa Isyung Pulis" said that he will make all legitimate means to
eliminate illegal drugs in the region in coordination with PDEA RO2. |
